Why a CIH Certification is important: (from the ABIH / BCG website at http://www.abih.org/about-abih/cih-caih )
A Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is an individual who has met the minimum requirements for education and experience, and through examination, has demonstrated a minimum level of knowledge and skills in the following rubric (subject matter) areas:
- Air Sampling & Instrumentation
- Analytical Chemistry
- Basic Science
- Biohazards
- Biostatistics & Epidemiology
- Community Exposure
- Engineering Controls/Ventilation
- Ergonomics
- Health Risk Analysis & Hazard Communication
- IH Program Management
- Noise
- Non-Engineering Controls

What is the meaning of being a CHMM with respect to being an officially certified Environmental Professional?
The IHMM CHMM is an Environmental Professional under Federal 40 CFR § 312.10 Definitions
Under federal regulation 40 CFR § 312.10 Definitions, the US EPA constructed an objective standard for evaluating private certifications against the elements of what is defined as an “Environmental Professional.” IHMM provides this crosswalk between the contents of the CHMM credential and the elements of the definition of an Environmental Professional under 40 CFR § 312.10 Definitions, in which the CHMM with 5 or more years of experience either meets or exceeds the regulatory definition.
Joel Gray EMF EMI Environmental Biomedical Consultant CV May 2021 PDF
Educational Degrees, Certification & License Documents
Completed coursework has included intensive classes in Electromagnetics, RF Design, Communication Systems and Signals & Systems with extensive experience in troubleshooting a broad variety of technical problems, particularly EMI / RF interference issues with industrial and biomedical equipment.
Certifications, accreditations, certificates, diplomas, and ID cards are shown below to back up my stated qualifications. Furthermore, I leave certain legacy (expired but renewed or otherwise) documents on here to show that I have held said credential for the time stated and have renewed it periodically. Also, the certifying / licensing agencies can and have changed (such as the Texas MAC Mold Assessment Consultant License) from the Texas State Department of State Health Services (TSDHS) to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and I preferred the TSDHS license because it is a government issued PHOTO ID while the TDLR license does not display my visual identity.
In addition, it is a quick reference page for me to pull down the graphics, ID numbers, etc. in case I need to pull it while I am engaged on a project and do not have ready access to the document.

This initial contact is to learn more about Scantech Technical Consulting and the possibility of conducting scans-surveys of our home and vehicles.
We are both retired. My profession was as a petroleum landman and my wife was a school principal
As an introduction: We live in Midland, Texas and I have been effected by the SMART electronic meters, cell phones, etc and various gadgets at home and at office locations. Most recently it has become debilitating.
We have no education or specific knowledge in the field of electronic signals, RF, Microwave, IR, Cell phones and Towers and so forth excepts as customers of these technologies.
We would like to chat with you about my EMF concerns and would like to come to your Dallas, Texas office for a meeting.
ScanTech only offers EMF / EMI surveys, indoor air quality testing and other forms of occupational safety and environmental consulting for commercial customers and industry. But there are a number of other companies that offer what you are looking for (many of them do remote consulting) and kindly suggest you find a firm appropriate for your needs.
